What Is The MEWP Certification Course?

This aerial and scissor lift operator training course covers the formal (classroom) knowledge portion of MEWP operator qualification under the ANSI/SAIA A92 standards and OSHA. It addresses boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other mobile elevating work platforms — covering the machine groups and types, pre-use inspection, fall protection, stability principles, site hazard management, and rescue planning. Complete 11 online modules, pass the exam, and print your certificate.

Before operating any MEWP, ANSI A92.24 also requires machine-specific familiarization on the exact make and model the operator will use, and a practical hands-on evaluation by a qualified person. This course covers the knowledge component so your operators arrive at that evaluation prepared.
