OSHA Training
10-Hour Classes
Mid-America Safety & Environmental has Outreach Trainers on staff that provide an intensive training curriculum that exceeds OSHA requirements. Upon completion, the student will receive a temporary 10-hour card until the official OSHA 10-hour training card is received. Our classes are conducted with professionalism, real-life examples, and can be customized to meet your specific needs.

- Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans and Fire Protection

TYPICAL CURRICULUM – CONSTRUCTION
Required
- Introduction to OSHA
- OSHA Focus Four Hazards including: Fall Protection, Electrical, Struck By, Caught In-between
- Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment
- Health Hazards in Construction including: Hazard Communication and Silica
Optional
- Materials Handling, Storage, Use and Disposal
- Tools – Hand and Power
- Scaffolds
- Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators, and Conveyors
- Excavations
- Stairways and Ladders
