30-Hour – Construction

This course covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards as well as construction safety and health principles. This is an entry-level course that provides our students with basic safety and health knowledge for the construction industry.

Topics covered are scope and application of the OSHA construction standards. Special emphasis will be placed on areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. When you complete this course, you’ll be able to find correct OSHA Standards in 29 CFR 1926, identify common causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas of construction, identify abatement techniques for hazards found in construction and more.
